Applicant Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Lucentive collects and uses the information you submit through this application platform, and the rights you have over it.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is [Lucentive legal entity name and registered address]. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact [privacy contact email]. [Where a Data Protection Officer / Encarregado is appointed, include their contact here.]
What we collect
We collect the information you provide in the application form: your name and date of birth, contact details, current location, professional background, areas of interest, availability, work authorisation, referral information, your CV, and any public professional profile links you choose to share. We also record that you acknowledged this notice (the time, the notice version, and your IP address) as evidence that you were informed.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use this information to assess whether you may fit a current or future role at Lucentive, to manage the review process, to communicate with you about your application, and to keep a structured record.
Our primary legal basis is our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; Article 7(IX) LGPD) in assessing candidates who approach us and in running an organised recruitment process. Where we are taking steps toward a possible employment contract at your request, we also rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR(Article 7(V) LGPD). Ticking “I have read this notice” is an acknowledgement that you were informed; it is not the legal basis for the processing, and you do not lose any rights by not relying on consent. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time (see your rights below).
How long we keep it
If we do not move forward with your application, we erase it (and your CV) within 6 months (180 days) of the last activity on it. We may keep it longer only where a specific legal obligation requires it, or where you have given us separate, optional permission to keep you in mind for future roles. If you are hired, your information moves into our employee records under a separate policy.
Who can access it
Access is limited to Lucentive team members involved in reviewing applicants, interviewing, hiring decisions, or platform administration. [List any third-party processors here, e.g. hosting, database, file storage, and email providers, and the country in which they process data.]
Where it is processed
[State where the data is hosted and processed. If applicant data leaves the EU/EEA or Brazil, describe the transfer safeguard relied on, for example Standard Contractual Clauses under GDPR Chapter V and the corresponding LGPD mechanism.]
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing (including our reliance on legitimate interests), and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority [name your lead EU supervisory authority], and in Brazil with the ANPD.
How to exercise your rights or request deletion
Contact us at [privacy contact email]. We respond within one month. To protect your data, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request; the private status link we send you shows only your application’s progress and is not used to release a copy of your data.
Please do not include sensitive information
We do not ask for, and ask that you do not include in your introduction or CV, special categories of data such as health, religion, political or trade-union affiliation, or similar. We do not use such information to assess candidates.
